Dear Friends,

International Women’s Hope Center (IWHC) is an organization that provides care and education to women, particularly those experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. This care is provided through medical education and support services. IWHC offers help for the complete person’s body, soul, and spirit at no cost and in a confidential manner.  Life in general is challenging for people living in the Upper East Region of Ghana where the rate of teenage pregnancy is the highest in the Nation. Life can be especially difficult for young women and single parents in this region who are facing an unplanned pregnancy.

IWHC is a beacon of hope for young women and teenage girls facing unexpected pregnancies. The IWHC organization is also a mentorship program designed to help develop these same women into grace-filled, self-respecting, honorable members of society with an emphasis on sexual integrity. We extend our services to rural areas by catering to some of the basic needs of these women by donating items such as baby clothes, maternity clothes, personal care items, food, and offering career training. IWHC provides similar help to teenage mothers and those expecting babies who reside within the Upper East Region of Ghana including several communities within the Talensi, Bongo, Builsa North and South districts and the Bolgatanga municipality.

I am happy to announce that IWHC now offers ultrasound scans which are used to capture live images within the womb. Our free ultrasound services also monitor the baby’s development. We believe this service will go a long way to reduce the rate of abortion among our women. 

I want to thank The Women’s Clinic of Columbus, Relationships Under Construction, Heartbeat International, and the many, friends, families, and organizations who have shared the vision and sponsored IWHC over the years.  The number of individuals who have championed IWHC are too many to mention, however, your support is greatly appreciated.  Your continued support will help reduce the rate of abortion and teenage pregnancies in the Upper East Region of Ghana in which IWHC currently operates.
